Boys basketball will have an important meeting Tuesday during morning break in the old gym. All boys planning to play next season need to attend.

Any student planning on taking the CNA class through Wilkes Community College in the fall needs to contact WCC at 372-5061 to register for the placement test. There is one on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 3:00. You must register to take the test on that date. Contact WCC if this date doesn’t work for you to check on alternate dates.
Beta Club Cake Walk. Last 10 minutes of each lunch in the cafeteria. Cost will be 1.00. Help raise money for the Beta Club.
Senior Day at the River
On Friday, May 20th, the AHS seniors will be transported by school buses to “Una’s River Bottom” on the Little River for a day of sunshine, water fun, games, and lunch for their classmates. There will be volleyball competitions, corn hole games, team races, and more! For lunch we will have pizza, wings, watermelon, and drinks. Bring beach towels, river shoes, snacks, and music. The entire day is paid for by the school and community donations, so come and enjoy a day out of school. (You will be counted present if you are with us at the river!) Pay your senior fees and past due charges so that you are eligible to attend.
