US Senator Kay R. Hagan’s office is hosting an Academy Day at the North Carolina National Guard Armory in Morrisville, NC on Saturday, September 25th from 10:00am-1:00pm. Attending will be representatives and current midshipman and cadets from each service academy, as well as representatives from Senator Hagan’s office to explain our nomination process.
National "See You At The Pole" is Wednesday, Sept. 22. All faculty and students are invited to meet at the flagpole Wednesday morning at 7:30.

Juniors - Deadline for registration for the SAT on November 6, 2010, at AHS is October 8, 2010. If you are planning on attending a four-year university, it is crucial that you take the SAT this year.

Jayne Phipps-Boger will be conducting a Financial Aid Workshop on Tues Sept 28 at 6:00 pm for students who intend to enter college classes in Spring 2011. Any student and family who wishes to have assistance filling out the financial aid forms on line need to call and make an appointment at 372- 5061 ext 231.
