Announcements

ASD and make-up time will be Monday through Thursday in Mr. McKnight's room until 4:30. Teachers have an updated list of those students who need to make up time.

Congratulations to the following for their single tennis wins against North Wilkes yesterday. Bobby Calhoun and Cody Hamm. Doubles- Bobby and Ben Calhoun. Exhibition- Louie Poole and Daniel Teague.

Cheerleading applications are due to Mrs. Duncan on Wednesday, April 14th.

Students going on the Model UN trip on Thursday need to meet after school in Mr. Pasley's room on Tuesday. This meeting is mandatory.

After-school tutoring is available from 3:00-4:45.

Horse Club Yard Sale Saturday April 17th at the Black Building. Donations can be dropped off at 5:15 pm on Friday.

Outside Prom date forms are in the office due April 15th.

A free practice test will be given on May 8, 2010 at AHS for any junior or senior who plans to take the SAT in June. Come by guidance for a form to sign up.

The Model U.N. club will be going to App. State on the 15th is required to fill out a pre-approved absence form and a parent permission form. Turn these into Mr. Pasley or Jacob Brooks by the 14th. These forms can be picked up in the office.

Don't be greedy; help the needy! Join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in raising money for earthquake disaster relief. Each day during prom week, we will be focusing on a different theme. To participate, pay $1 each morning at the FCA table in the lobby and come dressed to impress. There will be an opportunity for students to cast a $.50 vote for the "best dressed" student in their class in each category. All proceeds will go to the Samaritan's Purse Haiti Relief Fund.
