Announcements

ASD and make-up time will be Monday through Thursday in Mr. McKnight's room until 4:30. Teachers have an updated list of those students who need to make up time.

Cheerleading tryout (JV and Varsity) will be held April 19th -April 23rd. Students interested in cheering next school year need to pick up applications from Mrs. Duncan in the Guidance Department and have them returned by April 14th.

After-school tutoring is available from 3:00-4:45.

Support Relay for Life and buy a link in our schools "Chain of Hope" for only .25 during lunch today. You may also place an order for the different types of t-shirts relay for life is selling.

Horse Club Yard Sale Saturday April 17th at the Black Building. Donations can be dropped off at 5:15 pm on Friday.

Students with jump drives or cameras checked out from media center, please return them ASAP

This is the final week to pre-order FFA t-shirts: short-sleeved $8 and long-sleeved $12. See Margaret Ray or Bridgette Sturgill to place your order. All orders must be pre-paid.

Any rising 10th, 11th or 12th grader interested in applying for the NC Cooperative Leadership Conference sponsored by Skyline this summer, come by guidance to get application. Deadline for submission is Friday, April 9, 2010.

All girls basketball players going to team camp need to turn in their registration forms to Coach Phillips by Friday.

Congratulations to the Horse Club for receiving a grant from the North Carolina Horse Council for the 2010 summer camp "Happy Trails Horse Camp"

A free practice test will be given on May 8, 2010 at AHS for any junior or senior who plans to take the SAT in June. Come by guidance for a form to sign up.

Any sophomore interested in being a server at the prom, please contact Mrs. Vestal before this Friday.

The Model U.N. club will be going to App. State on the 15th. Everyone is invited to join. No previous experience required. All grades can participate. If you are interested, come to the Model U.N. meeting on Thursday the 8th afterschool in Mr. Pasley's room.

Congratulations to Bobby Calhoun for his single win against Wilkes Central yesterday. Also, congratualtions to Louie Poole for his singles exhibition win.
